When planning an online store, we find some empty spaces that can be used to increase sales.

Those spaces can be filled without over-stimulating our customers and visitors.  A space we are using lately is the empty  shopping cart. Statistics have shown us that a percentage close to 20% clicks on the “My cart” link even when it has no products added.

 

 

Depending on the kind of store you are planning (potential customers, product and price, possibilities of using impulse-driven sales…) we would recommend some spaces or others.

And of course, you can use interactive video in those spaces and help your customers decide.
